Some more footage
We are in the process of preparing Davin for some more filming. We got a lot of good information the first time around but we have decided that our message needs to be scripted. We are trying to create dialog that is simple and concise, but still retains the emotional appeal that we are shooting for.

Breaking News!
Well, possibly. I spoke with News 4 WOAI (my personal favorite) today and there is a great possibility that we be receiving some great PR on the nightly news. The best part about it is WOAI is heavily involved in the Race for a Cure, and guess what….we cure have t-shirts to sell! Fingers crossed everyone this could be great.

Project T-Shirt
Public Official
I talked to Sheriff Chris LeBlanc last week about making a public statement on our promotional video. He said that he would be more than willing to “talk up” the Graffiti Foundation, pending a request from his Sergeant. I spoke with him earlier today and he said that his request is making its way through the approval process. We should know more about his availability later this week.

Banker to the Poor
Banker to the Poor is the story of one man dream, which ended up helping thousands across the world. Muhammad Yunus vision “helping people help themselves”. Believing all the people needed was financial help in the form of a small loan and some education on the principal of managing money. He believed the rest would follow and they could do for themselves better than they ever imagined before.
He took his idea and started the Grameen Bank in 1983, which focused on giving micro- loans to people who had no collateral or other financial backing. Grameen Bank, based on the belief that credit is a basic human right, not the privilege of a fortunate few, now provides over 2.5 billion dollars of micro –loans to more than two million families. Most of Grameens clients are women around 94%. The repayment rates are nearly 98%. He used his idea to build a bank that creates an opportunity for everyone.
